Handmade Fleece Blankets with Purpose

Every fleece blanket we create is made with care, compassion, and purpose by brain injury survivors, caregivers, and dedicated volunteers at the Traumatic Brain Injury Resource Center.

The blanket-making process provides valuable therapeutic benefits for our survivors, including opportunities to strengthen fine motor skills, improve hand-eye coordination, and enhance cognitive processing skills. Just as importantly, this program helps build confidence, encourages social interaction, fosters creativity, and provides a meaningful sense of accomplishment and purpose.

For more than 10 years, our participants have been crafting these beautiful blankets and sharing them with the community through craft shows, open houses, and special events. During that time, this program has raised more than $100,000 to support our mission. Today, blanket sales remain our largest fundraiser, with 100% of proceeds directly supporting the programs and services we provide.
