It was a busy summer as we completed a major renovation of the center. The focal point of improvements is our expanded, accessible kitchen featuring a 12-foot island. This new kitchen will be used for teaching the importance of nutrition in brain injury recover and includes a new refrigerator, dish washer and range with hood.
An access to an adjacent suite was created and the new space now serves as our new fleece shop as well as storage room.
We now have a dedicated rec room for table tennis, foosball and basketball games.
Finally, the former fleece storage room has now been converted to a training room for our group activities including the weekly speech and memory group.
