The Traumatic Brain Injury Resource Center (TBIRC) is excited to share that, thanks to a generous grant from the Lott Conlin Foundation, we have added a SMART Board to our center! This cutting-edge technology is already enhancing our rehabilitation programs for brain injury survivors.
The SMART Board will be used in group therapy sessions and individual recovery activities, creating interactive experiences that promote cognitive and physical rehabilitation. Survivors recently explored the board by playing engaging games like Mahjong, Free Flow, and Solitaire. These activities are more than entertainment—they help improve logical thinking, hand-eye coordination, and mobility, all of which are vital for recovery after a traumatic brain injury.
We are deeply grateful to the Lott Conlin Foundation for making this possible. Their support empowers survivors to take meaningful steps toward healing through innovative tools and technology.
