Jessica Henry is the Manager of Community Health Needs for Mercy Health – Toledo. She has been with Mercy Health since November of 1999 in which she has held various positions. For ten years she worked as a program coordinator for a grant-funded teen pregnancy prevention program. Jessica then worked for the Mercy Weight Management Center as a Health Educator. In her current position as Community Health Needs Manager she develops, organizes, coordinates, implements and manages programs and initiatives to meet the identified community health needs and objectives. Jessica serves as key representative for Mercy Health as it relates to community needs and priority health issues. Additionally, Jessica oversees the management of the Community Health Affairs department and the Mercy Health Senior Wellness Center.
Jessica graduated from Owens Community College in May 1993 with an Associate of Applied Science in Radiation Therapy. She worked for 3.5 years in Virginia Beach, Virginia as a Radiation Therapist. In 1996 she moved back to Toledo to pursue her Bachelor’s Degree graduated from
the University of Toledo in December of 1997 with a Bachelor of Education in Public Affairs and Community Service. In May of 2017 Jessica earned a Graduate Certificate in Public Health from the University of Florida.
