The Traumatic Brain Injury Resource Center is breaking the myth that people with brain injuries cannot improve their quality of life. With support and a positive uplifting community of fellow survivors, caregivers and health professionals, TBI survivors are encouraged to be the best version of themselves they can be. This is just the beginning. We already offer speech & cognitive group therapy, support groups, Social Saturdays, and community lunches.
With your support, we will be able to expand our programming to include nutrition classes, additional support groups, book clubs, occupational therapy, and education for our community (health care providers, caregivers and the general public) about TBI and its effects on people’s lives. We would also like to provide programming at the schools to ensure that our youth are protected from head trauma as well as providing support for them and their families if a head trauma should occur. The possibilities are endless and we are excited for you to join us in this endeavor.
In addition to cash donations, there are several other ways to support us. In-kind donations are encouraged, and we have provided a wish list on this site. You may also consider volunteering, even for just one hour a week. No experience is needed; and opportunities are as simple as sharing conversation with survivors. Finally, you can help whenever you shop; TBIRC participates in give-back programs with Gordon Food Service, Kroger, and Amazon Smile!
Thank you for your gifts of time, talent, and treasure!
