The Traumatic Brain Injury Resource Center is grateful for the incredible partnership and support from Mercy Health, Med1Care, and Fifth Third Bank, who recently came together to support our Serenity Sacks program.
Serenity Sacks are thoughtfully assembled and distributed to individuals recovering from brain injury. Each sack includes a cozy fleece blanket, essential care items, and helpful literature highlighting local resources to support survivors and their families on the road to recovery. These sacks are designed to provide both comfort and connection during a challenging time.
Representatives from Fifth Third Bank played a key role by volunteering their time across several sessions to make fleece blankets, carefully assemble literature packets and organize care kit materials. Their dedication and attention to detail ensured that each sack would be both meaningful and useful to those receiving them.
The collaboration culminated in a special final assembly day at our center, where team members from Mercy Health, Med1Care, and Fifth Third Bank worked side by side to complete the Serenity Sacks. It was a powerful day of teamwork, generosity, and shared purpose.
We are deeply thankful for these partners who recognize the importance of supporting brain injury survivors in our community. Their compassion and commitment help us continue providing vital resources and comfort to those we serve.
