This past Monday, Northwest Ohio was blanketed in snow and bitter cold—but thanks to some incredible visitors, our hearts were warmed. Representatives from the Fifth Third Bank Metro Toledo team stopped by the Traumatic Brain Injury Resource Center to learn more about our programs and show their support in a meaningful way.
Not only did they take time to understand the work we do for brain injury survivors and their families, but they also purchased handmade blankets created by survivors, caregivers, and volunteers. These blankets were then donated to the Cherry Street Mission to help provide warmth and comfort to those experiencing homelessness during these frigid days.
Every blanket sold helps fund vital programming at the Center, empowering individuals on their journey of recovery and resilience. This partnership is a beautiful example of how local organizations can come together to make a difference—supporting two great causes with one thoughtful act.
